About the Author

G.T. Kara

G.T. Kara is a children’s book author, father, and health advocate who believes that education should feel like an adventure. The Nutriheroes children’s health series was born from a simple wish: to help kids ages 6–12 understand how their bodies work in a way that is fun, empowering, and magical.

When his younger son developed a legendary sweet tooth, G.T. began creating stories that transformed complex topics like insulin, blood sugar, nutrition and sleep into epic adventures. The Land of Cells grew from bedtime stories and table talk into a rich picture book universe where science meets imagination.

Through The Nutriheroes, he hopes to give parents, teachers and health professionals a shared language for talking about children’s health – not with fear or strict rules, but with wonder, curiosity and understanding.
